Is and Are Robots

As part of our Language Arts program, we read a story called "Rose Robot". During the same week we were learning how and when to use the verbs is and are. So I typed up the sentences found in my TE. The kids then had to complete the sentences using the correct verb. But they also got to color, cut, and glue to make these darling robots. I think they came out SUPER cute!

  1. I also use "Treasures" reading, and would LOVE to do your robot activity. Sometimes I think they push too much complicated grammar at the kids, and too quickly. This would help with the verbs! Would you consider putting your activity on Google Docs?

  2. Sure. As soon as I learn how to use google docs...lol. I will play with it and see if I can upload. I just can't upload the actual Robot cut and paste as it is not my creation and it is from a book.

  3. I, too, would love to see your file. Have you been here? I was just there and she was explaining how to load a doc file. Maybe it would help.
