Love, love, love this book! Jennifer Jacobsen came to our school last year and she is amazing. I love her Writer's Workshop format and I especially appreciate her targeted ideas for conferencing. My students looked forward to writing last year, and I truly believe it is because I used so many of Jennifer's writing ideas. Also - The Quiet Ten is a hit!
Thank you for sharing. I just got the "No more I'm done" book and loved it! I can't wait to start using it in my classroom next year.
This summer I am creating all sorts of videos for my students. Here is one of my videos teaching students how to write interesting sentences: http://luria-learning.blogspot.com/2011/04/soba-sentences.html
I also love the book Everyday Editing. It has all sorts of mentor sentences for writers workshop!
Hi Mrs. Ibarra, I did a post about this book as a third grade teacher. I loved it. Here is the link if you want to check it out. http://randalllearninglibrary.blogspot.com/2011/02/revamp-your-writers-workshop.html

That's on my list to read too! My sister read it and said it was a great read.
